ok background... I hate stinkbugs!!!! And of course my room is the attic, so I get stinkbugs around this time of year. And considering we really only go up there at night Meg has already taken out her contacts (she is practically blind as a bat without them) the duty falls to me to kill the blasted bugs! So here are a few tips if you ever have to kill one of the darned things
1. Get something long. Dont use like your hand for example. (they are really gross feeling plus they spray)
2. Get a febreeze of some scent (you should probably like the scent, youll be using alot of it (we have Pomegranate which works wonders) amd carry it in your other hand.
3. DO NOT stand to the side of the stink bug! When you squash it (thats assuming you dont miss) they WILL spray. And if you are in the direct vicinity it will splatter ALL OVER you. Its best to either stand in front (though I caution you, they have been known to fly off their perch and into your face)
4. Swing hard with whatever is in your hand and then jump back (other wise the smell that the stinkbugs release will overwhelm you. Then with the Febreeze Spray like mad!!
I hate stinkbugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (just wanted to get that out there, did i maybe mention that before? :P)
EDIT: btw arrows work great!! and when you kill them with arrows they dont spray!!! woot!!! lol :P (ya know for those of you that have arrows lying around.... lol)
